Our Savers Family History centres around the descendants of Charles and Catherine Savers, who were married at St Mary's Church, Portsea, Hampshire, on 29 November 1818. 

A family story suggests that Charles Savers was a French sailor who drowned at Sea, but apart from the record of his marriage we have no further clues about him.

There are Savers recorded and elsewhere in Hampshire and in Devon , but we have no evidence that they are connected to our family.
