Our Sackett family history centres around the family of Bertie and Mary Jane Sackett, who were married at St Nicholas's Church, Canterbury on 27 November 1909.  They were well known members of a close knit community in the Wincheap area of Canterbury, where they raised their six children.  The family began a long association with local firm Robert Brett & Sons, who several of the Sackett brothers worked for. 

This photograph, taken outside the Clifford's home in Puckle Lane, Canterbury, was taken after the wedding of William Sackett and Mabel Clifford in 1937.
