Hellingly Church, Sussex

Richard Gander was the son of Richard and Mary Gander.  He was born c1753 in East Sussex.

Richard married Lydia Blundell on 5 October 1777 at Hellingly, in East Sussex.

Lydia was born c1759, also in East Sussex, and is believed to be the daughter of Henry and Lydia Blunden. 

Little more is known about the couple, who raised nine children, and appear to have lived in Chiddingly. Richard is believe to have died in 1824.
