Ada Mary 1875- |
Robert & Mary were born in Woodbridge, Suffolk and Portsea, Hampshire respectively. Researching their lives led us on an elusive journey, which began with their marriage in Portsea, before moving on to Suffolk, Kent and to London, returning back to Kent and London, and ending with the discovery of the family headstone in Gravesend Cemetery. At times we thought that this family were not meant to be found, but our persistence paid off, and we were were able to build up a picture of a family, to whom tragedy and heartache were a part of everyday life.
