Lewis George Read and Emma Louise Keast were married on
11 February 1893 at St Peter's Church, Clerkenwell, London

Their children, Emma, Lewis and William join them for this family photograph, which was taken in the garden of their home, shortly before the outbreak of the First World War.  Lewis was a keen amateur gardener
and competed successfully with the professionals.
