Kate Ellen Vidler was born c1870.  She was the eldest daughter of George and Ellen Vitler, and was christened on 26 June 1870, in St Oswald's church, Hooe,  Sussex.

Kate married Alfred Bliss in Woolwich on 22 January 1893.  Albert was a Soldier (Royal Artillery). 

Kate and Alfred later moved to Paignton, Devon, where Kate died, on 27 February 1961.
