UPPER DICKER LOSS FUNERAL OF MRS. S. VITLER On Monday the funeral took place at Holy Trinity Church, Upper Dicker, of Mrs. Susan Vitler, wife of Mr. Frederick Vitler of Old Plough Cottage, Upper Dicker, who died on Thursday last week at the age of 63 years. Two sons and three daughters are also bereaved. Mrs Vitler formerly lived at Ninfield before moving to Stanarsh Farm, Upper Dicker, where her husband was bailiff for Mr Albert Burtenshaw J.P, for nearly 20 years. After a short period at East Hoathly, Mr. and Mrs. Vitler moved to New House Farm, Wilmington and when Mr Vitler gave up farming They went from there to live at Upper Dicker. The service was conducted by the Rev. R. C. Fillery. The mourners were Mr. C. Vitler and Mr. A. Vitler (sons), Mr. & Mrs. G. Harmer and Mr. & Mrs. A. Harmer, and Mr. & Mrs. Ernest Smith (sons in law and daughters). Miss F. Daughtry, Mrs. Southerden, Mrs. Deeprose (sisters in law), Mr. J. Cox, Mrs. Willard, Mrs. E. M. Cannon and Miss Cannon. The widower was unable to attend due to illness. Among others present were Mr G. H.Akehurst, Mrs. Cleere, Mrs D. Cot .. , Mrs. J. Finch, Mr. R. Finch, Miss M. Haffenden, Mrs. T. Henry, Mrs. J. Hill, Mrs. F. Hunneyset, Mr. S. E. Izzard, Mrs R. Langridge, Mr. J. Moore, Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Page, Mr. F. Page, Mrs. S. Page, Mrs. D. Smith, Mr. Edmund Smith, Mrs. Sargent and and Mr. A. Wilkins Beautiful floral tributes were sent by:- .
