We were sad to hear that Tony died recently. Tony descended from Samuel Southerden, and had researched his branch extensively, and published his findings on the internet. He also wrote an interesting account of his Great Great Grandfather, Charles Wittwer 'Hookey' Southerden's life for this website. |
It was with great sadness
that we learned of the death on 29 April 2008, of
Douglas Vidler, aged 87, in Auckland, New
Zealand. Douglas was one of the Ashburnham Vidlers, and took an
interest in our Family History. He provided an account of his father's
life, and several photographs for the website. |
It was with regret that we read of the death of Graham Fidler, in June 2008. Graham had for many years carried out a One-Name study into his name, plus variants, which included Vidler. He was a great help in constructing our Family tree, and was actively involved with the Cheshire Family History Society for many years.
