DAVID THOMAS CAREY was born in 1852 in Hooe, Sussex. He married MARY WALTER on 27 Apr 1872 in St Mary the Virgin's Church, Ninfield, Sussex. She was the daughter of THOMAS WALTER, and was born in 1847 in Catsfield, Sussex. David & Mary had six children, before she died in 1885 in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
