Charles Foster was the son of Jesse and Mary Foster.  He was born c1854, and was christened on 29 January 1854 in St Mary's Church, Ninfield in Sussex.

Charles married Ruth Barton on 2 June 1877 in St Mary's Church, Ninfield, Sussex.  Ruth was born in about 1853.  She died in 1885, and was buried on 31 October 1885 at St Mary's Church, Ninfield.

Charles married Eliza Messiter c1886.   Eliza was born c1860.  She died in 1896, and was buried on 30 April 1896 in St Mary's Church, Ninfield.

Charles married Eliza Douch, the daughter of George Douch, on 20 June 1897 in Ninfield.

Charles died in 1930, and was buried on 29 December 1930 in St Mary's Church, Ninfield.
