Our Calver family history research centers on the family of George Woods Calver, who was born c1852 in Earl Soham, Suffolk.  His children feature in the above photograph, which was taken after his death in 1902.  The occasion was the marriage of Emily Alice Calver to Frederick Holness Nicholls.  Back row, left to right: George Calver, Lena Nicholls, Frederick H Nicholls, Emma Calver, William Smith, Alice Calver, Harry Calver.  Front row, left to right: May Calver, Bert Calver, Kate Calver, Emily Alice Calver, Fanny Calver, Queenie (a foster child), Emily Mary Calver (bride's mother) and Lilian Calver.
