Benjamin Vitler  was born c1837.  He was the 5th child of John & Harriet Vitler, and was christened on
13 Aug 1837 in  St Oswald's Church, Hooe in  Sussex.

Benjamin married Jane Russell  on 19 Dec 1858 in St Oswald's Church Hooe.  Jane was born in Hooe c1840, and was the daughter of James and Hannah Russell.

They had the following children

George Vitler  was christened on 28 Aug 1859. He died about 1944.

Julia Vitler  was born about 1862. She died about 1933.

James Vitler  was born about 1865. He died about 1928.

Mary Ann Vitler  was born about 1870.

Jane died in 1914, and Benjamin died in1917.
