BALL FAMILY INDEX
ALFRED 1830-1883
|
St Mary's Church in Alverstoke, Hampshire Our earliest known Ball ancestors are John & Hannah (nee Taplin) Ball, who were married in 1815, in St Mary's Church, Alverstoke, in Hampshire. Their first two children were born in this area, before the couple moved to London, where John worked as a Tailor. The couple went on to have fourteen more children, making them the largest family in our tree. John & Hannah are our 'brick wall' ancestors, as we have been unable to trace them any further. We also haven't been able to trace the lives of their children, apart from my 3 times Great Grandfather, Frederick Ball, who was born in 1819, and two of his brothers. We would therefore be delighted to hear from anyone who may be able to help us further our research into this family. |
